Description: The Property/Leasing Manager is available to respond to emergencies, tenant concerns/issues, maintain the cleanliness of the building as well as look after the maintenance and leasing of apartments. The incumbent is passionate about providing a safe and clean place for residents to call home.  This is a live-in position eligible for free rent and commissions.


  • Respond to all resident questions, concerns and complaints in a timely manner
  • Handle all aspects of renting suites such as; schedule viewings, conduct references and credit checks and perform move-in and move-out inspection
  • Collect monthly rent payments
  • Serve all legal documentation and any other resident communication as required
  • Inspect occupied and vacant units as required
  • Focus on customer service and resident retention
  • Enter work orders into YARDI
  • Maintain accurate resident files
  • Preparation of resident correspondence
  • Responsible for bank deposits, EFT's and security deposit refunds


  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Previous experience managing a residential rental complex while residing on the property
  • Solid understanding and enforcement of the Residential Tenancy Act
  • Strong communication skills and experience in conflict resolution
  • Flexible schedule able to work evenings, weekends and holidays
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
